Skids

Frame-mounted process packages built, tested and proven before they leave the shop

Products

Process Skids

Vrishal Engineering Pvt. Ltd. fabricates, supply, compact, frame-mounted process skids that reach site as a complete package. Structure, equipment, piping, electrical and instrumentation items and accessories are assembled and tested on a single base frame under controlled shop conditions. Skids are completely painted, fire proofing completed wherever required.

Skid construction moves work off the critical path at site. Instead of erecting structure, setting equipment and routing piping in sequence in the field, the package arrives ready for foundation setting, tie-in and hook-up, shortening site duration and reducing exposure to weather, access and work-front constraints.

Shop Hours Cost Less Than Site Hours

The same weld, the same fit-up and the same alignment take longer at site than in the shop. Access is restricted, work fronts are shared, weather interferes and inspection takes longer to arrange. Especially at remote locations, congested site conditions.

Building the package as a skid converts field man-hours into shop man-hours. Productivity improves, quality is easier to control, and the remaining site scope reduces to foundation, setting, tie-in and testing.

WHY SKIDS

Assembled, Checked and Proven Before Dispatch

Skid work is dimensional work. Nozzle orientation, tie-in position, anchor bolt location and equipment centreline all have to match the drawing, because corrections at site are slow and expensive.

Vrishal Engineering builds skids under its own fabrication set-up with dimensional control, qualified welders, stage inspection and documented testing, so the package that reaches site matches the drawing it was built from.
