Successful Execution at NAYARA Vadinar Refinery Turnaround 2026
Milestone Achievement: Turnkey Execution at Nayara Energy Refinery Turnaround (TA-2026)

Vrishal Engineering Pvt. Ltd., together with its group firm Vishal Enterprise, is proud to announce the successful completion of our turnkey scope in the 2026 Turnaround (TA-2026) at Nayara Energy’s Vadinar Refinery, Jamnagar (India’s second-largest single-site refinery).
Our scope covered the turnkey Maintenance & Inspection (M&I) work of CDU-1 and the hot & cold work package of the VGO-DHDT unit, executed during the turnaround window of April – May 2026, with an executed value of USD 5.44 Mn.
Key Highlights of Our Work On-Ground:
- Peak Deployment: Mobilised a peak site workforce of ~2,700 personnel, including 65 qualified welders (38 CS, 17 AS/SS and 10 IBR), supported by 20 torque tightening & tensioning machines.
- Major Equipment Handled: 38 heat exchangers, 35 vessels, 34 air-fin coolers, 12 columns and 5 heaters, along with 311 control valves, 295 isolation valves and 203 PSV / PVRV.
- Critical Jobs & Lifts: Replacement of the 110-inch VDU transfer line and 3 × 3 m duct (143 m) in CDU, 54 critical hydro-test loops (28,000 inch-m), 25,000 inch-dia of hot work and 2.1 lakh m³ of scaffolding.
- Ahead of Plan: All units completed their mechanical window ahead of the planned schedule – CDU in 21 days (planned 23), VGO in 27 days (planned 28) and DHDT in 22 days (planned 23).
- Quality & Compliance: Work executed by IBR-qualified welders under our Special Class IBR approval and ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 certified management systems.
- What it means for our clients: This execution demonstrates our capacity to mobilise large resources rapidly, manage multiple critical work fronts in parallel and deliver complex refinery turnarounds safely, with quality, and ahead of schedule.
